programs that sneak into peoples computers and then overlay YOUR
website with text links divert traffic to your competitors! If

People ARE looking at your site with ugly yellow links that steal your
visitors.
TopText installs as a plugin in Internet Explorer, and then when
you open a web site in IE you may see what look like yellow highlights
on keywords all over the page. The yellow highlights appear on any web
page which contains words for which advertisers have paid Ezula. If
you have words that somebody has paid for, you now have a link on YOUR
site that leads to THEIR site.
Surf+ is a similar
bit of thiefware. And Gator puts a twist on the concept by overlaying
ad banners with somebody else's banner. They even boast that you can
advertise on sites that don't accept advertising! Oh, where will it end?

is out-and-out theft. I could rant on and on about it but the internet
